Don't Think Twice has been a bit of a passion project for the past year now. It came about from the desire to roleplay PMD but never having a site around that could live without constant staff presence. As such, I wanted to be able to make a site that would be heavily member-influenced, both in and outside of dungeons. I wanted it to be able to run without needing a large staff team.
That said, you may have already noticed that we are lacking a complete dungeon system as well as the battle system! While I have written a good chunk of this out, I hit a wall and decided that it would be better to get member input before I got too far ahead of myself. On March 28th, a thread will be posted to receive and any all input from our members on how they want to see dungeons and battling work. While we have a stat system to work with, I do want to give everyone the opportunity to decide if it stays or changes after they have a chance to get settled in.
Until then, I want the site to focus on the more or less slice-of-life aspect of the site. Make your characters, start plotting. While you cannot make a dungeon thread right now, you are free to roleplay in those boards! You will not receive any special rewards, but if you want to wander around in a labyrinth without worrying about a bad roll ruining your day, go for it!
In the following months, you can expect the following:
- Overview of Niphios (setting, traditions, etc.)
- Dungeon system
- Battling system
- Our first event!
