Nature: Adamant. Alert to sounds.
[break][break]
[break][break]
He tries to stay still when delicate animals or Pokemon are close so that he doesn't accidentally hurt them, but for Fyr, "still" means "moving in place"; he's in continuous motion as long as he's awake.[break]
If he gets distracted while something is in his hand, he completely forgets about it. He visually checks both paws before leaving a store to keep from stealing things he doesn't want. [break]
[break][break]
Fyr was born in the island nation of Ha Kvar. A Zoroark named Solgaleo (Sol for short) ruled in the guise of his namesake, demanding worship and adherence to his strict moral code in exchange for safety, guidance, and peace. [break]
When Fyr was young, his mother disappeared after an attack on Sol. The bizarre incident - she had been one of his top enforcers, as well a devoted follower - was attributed to her recent evolution and hushed up.[break]
In Ha Kvar, orphans are considered children of the god; this is quite literal, as Solgaleo legally adopts all Ha Kvari orphans. Fyr joined the rest of Sol’s sacred children in a dedicated temple, where he became close friends with his new siblings, particularly two other outcasts: Borjan, a Riolu who seemed to have little control over his Aura, and Stravan, an Alolan Vulpix with only four tails. [break]
Like all of Sol’s children, at 16, Fyr began training as an acolyte. Somewhere between personal bodyguard, police, emissary, and servant to the god, acolytes held a unique position in Ha Kvari society: the power, prestige, and responsibilities associated with the career appealed to many Pokemon on an theoretical level, but in reality the bizarre behavior and instability of most acolytes kept them on the outskirts of society. [break]
The true job of an acolyte was to amuse Sol. The boys’ grasp on reality loosened as they adapted to the palace - a world of living nightmares that got more intense the closer they were to Solgaleo. The building, the rules, the people, the entire island changed according to the Zoroark’s whims, and neither their minds nor senses could be trusted. As their training advanced, they spent more time at the palace; by the time Fyr was a young adult, they were living there full-time, only permitted to leave for work. He, Stravan, and Borjan became each other’s only support systems. [break]
While on a mission, Fyr found increasing evidence of Sol’s masquerade, including hints as to what had really happened to his mother, and he contacted his brothers to plot revenge. [break]
The three ambushed Sol deep in the mountains. United, they were able to withstand Sol’s illusory horrors and defeat him. Sol’s illusions dissipated with his death, allowing the acolytes to perceive their world and each other clearly for the first time in years. [break]
Not all revelations were pleasant.[break]
Borjan’s goal had been to take Solgaleo’s place as Ha Kvar’s leader with his brothers at his sides; he turned on them when they refused to join him. Fyr and Stravan fought back, but even without the Lucario’s Aura overwhelming their emotions, his advantage in age, type, and preparedness would have ensured his victory. [break]
Fyr doesn’t know what happened to Stravan; when he woke, he ran. The chaos of the acolytes’ battle had spread over the island - Sol’s citizens were conditioned to rely on him for everything, and when he died, their social order dissolved almost as fast as his illusions. Borjan took control of the government, but not quickly enough to stop Fyr as he fled the island. [break]
Fyr has lived the past several months on the run, leaving an erratic trail through small towns and wilderness to throw anyone following him off course. He stowed away on a ship to Colbagne and slipped into the city in the dead of night; he hopes it's far away from Ha Kvar that he can finally settle down and start a new life.

PHYSICAL
- He's 4 feet tall, a noticeable outlier for his species. His coarse coat sticks straight out from his body, making him look even larger; shaggy tufts on his shoulders and elbows further accentuate his muscular build. His ears are thickly furred and semi-pricked, changing carriage with his mood.
- The rock growing over his face is jagged, pointing upwards partway through. His neutral face is a surly scowl that only changes with intense emotions or sensory stimuli, belying his amiable nature; he can look downright demonic in the daylight as he pulls faces to protect his sun-sensitive eyes.
- He's clearly accident-prone, often scuffed up or missing patches of fur from minor injuries.
