Riley Graves was just a college freshman, barely finished with his first semester and still struggling to figure out what his focus of study would be. Purchasing this brand new MMO wasn't even his idea, and to this day he still laments the expenditure for a number of reasons, one being the squeeze on his already tight funding outside of the usual college expenses. Before college he poured a lot of time into video and tabletop gaming with his friends, and a high school pal simply insisted this would be a great way for them to stay in touch while he was away. He booted the accursed game up, went through the heart attack that was fretting about a fried CPU, and shortly found himself here. Wherever here is. [break][break]

Of course I miss my friends. Before I got accepted, we did everything together. We completely aced the Tomb of Annihilation, decked out our Realm into the most glorious death trap with redstone work that honestly embarrasses me considering how much time I put into it...we played on Sea of Thieves until we fell asleep at our keyboards. Yet after each and every new adventure we'd lose somebody along the way. Gerard had to move with his family up to New Hampshire, Kacey's brother passed away and she hasn't really been available, Lucas got arrested, we mutually agreed to drop Erik from the group...[break][break]
And now I'm trapped in this place. My best friend tries to keep me from becoming the next casualty and I'm stuck in this weird body on a weird continent with a bunch of weird monsters. I wish I knew anything about this world, but the developers kept their lips tightly sealed on the subject. I guess it's just going to be up to me to figure this one out and, hopefully, get back home again soon." [break][break]
